Interview: Elizabeth on The No-Cry Sleep Solution

1. WELCOME
3. PARENTING POINT TO PONDER: Motherhood will change your life

1. WELCOME

Hello everyone! I hope you are enjoying a lovely, sunny early summer. For our family, this time of year means the two big Bs — Baseball and the Beach! All three of my older children are serious ball players — two pitchers and a catcher! — so I spend lots of time in the bleachers. My little Coleton loves going to games; he has little friends to play with and he loves to yell encouragement to his big brother and sisters when they're up to bat. “Go David!” never fails to bring a big smile to his brother's face.
Luckily, we're past the age of car seat crying - but I've lived through enough of it to know how frustrating it is to have your little one fussing when you're on the road. So, this month's article is on this topic. It's a sneak preview from my upcoming book, Gentle Baby Care (September, 2003)

3. PARENTING POINT TO PONDER: Motherhood will change your life

A friend shared this with me, and I used a half a box of tissues while reading it. I hope that you find it brings you closer to your children, despite the demands that parenting places on your life; it had that effect on me! I have been unable to find the author of this beautiful piece of work, so if you know who that person is, please send me an email.
Time is running out for my friend. We are sitting at lunch when she casually mentions that she and her husband are thinking of "starting a family." What she means is that her biological clock is ticking and has begun its final countdown. "We're taking a survey," she says, half joking. "Do you think I should have a baby?"
